It was for a recall and I was expected to have coffee in the waiting area before my car could be taken. I was asked if I wanted it cleaned and said yes -it was not cleaned. I was told someone would collect me when it was ready- no one did

Booked the car in ,drop it off collected it no problems
Booked in for review of suspension fault. Did not get update on review and had to ring garage at least 4 times to get update on progress. Garage did not ring unless I contacted them in the two weeks they had vehicle.
Always issues at Ocean Torbay, excessive waits (1.5 hours to change a headlamp bulb), had car MOT'd and 2 new tyres, told would be ready between 4-4.30pm, at 5pm I had to demand my car as children waiting to be picked up.It's the same every time
The staff at Ocean Torbay where extremely helpful and polite, the lady on reception was particularly helpful, they did everything they could to get my car repaired as quickly as possible.
Contact was maintained over two days as to work needed and progress to a level where my confidence was happily kept looking forward to once again sitting behind the wheel.
As above I had to wait over a week with the engine missing to get it fixed.
I would have given Ocean 100%, but I had a problem with my sons "older" 120D and it was very difficult to get real assistance on this ( almost because they knew he couldn't afford to spend a lot) It was not easy to get diagnostic results
Very difficult to get through to service dept through the auto answering system and several long delays were experienced. Car was handed back 1 hour after predicted time.
Lack of availability of courtesy cars despite car having to be in for 2 days.
Not informed MOT was due within a week of a service. 1.5 hour journey to our dealer.

Kat and Sean, the 2 staff I dealt with on the day, went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me with a phone connectivity issue. They really could not have been more patient and accommodating. They are true ambassadors for Ocean and BMW.
We just called in as our X5 had to have ad blue put into it , and we had a 3 hour drive home , as we had been at our holiday home . I bought the vehicle in Maidenhead and should have had ad blue topped up before I took possession of the vehicle.
Timing is always optimistic and if the car should be washed as part of the offer then please do so rather than ask if it should be?
No delays. Look after you when waiting. Good feedback. Even wash and clean the car, although they don't use a leather to clean off excess water leaving water marks.
Even gave me a better car whilst mine was in.
