The work was done to an acceptable standard in the end, but on booking we were tole that transport home for my wife would be provided and that the car would be brought back afterwards. This did not happen at great inconvenience, despite excess staff
I was told the car would be valeted and it was not. I also reported a damaged door seal and have had not feedback as to resolving the problem

I had two new rear tyres. On one rim, the dust cover on the valve was not put back on. The wheels needed rebalancing - the old weights were wrenched off the bare patches left by them were not cleaned up. The tyre pressures were uneven by 0.3 bar.
Why did the mechanic disconnect my dash cam and leave the connecting piece just hanging from the windscreen mirror?
Arrived approximately 30 minutes early for the appointment, we didn't have to wait, Ocean Torbay started the service immediately and we left 30 minutes earlier than previously scheduled.
It was booked in over the phone. Kept there until the following day as I had a hospital appt in the afternoon so could not collect it.

All was fine, except: - Surprised to be ask to make payment (potentially refundable) for diagnostic on a small gearbox leak, since within warranty. Subsequently not invoked. - All tyre pressures were found to be well down a few minutes after service
My car seems and drives like new.
The young lad who detailed with me was brilliant.He tried his best with getting a replacement car overnight for me. I really appreciated his effort. He also communicated well.
The chap I dealt with (I have forgotten his name) is fantastic. Every helpful and very genuine. The two guys that I saw at the branch itself were great too. Again really helpful. I will go to Torbay rather than Barnstaple when I buy a new BMW!
