BMW EfficientDynamics really took-off in 2008 and the timing couldn’t have been better for drivers, as fuel prices continued to soar and the government got tougher on vehicles emitting higher CO2 emissions. A combination of technologies working together, BMW EfficientDynamics helps to lower emissions, boost performance and improve the car’s fuel-efficiency. Thanks to it, the BMW 118d was awarded the title of World Green Car of the Year 2008 and costs just £35 a year to tax.

This year, a number of new cars have arrived in our showroom, including the new BMW Z4, the first BMW Roadster to feature a Retractable Hard-Top.

We also introduced the new BMW 116d in March, the most efficient BMW ever produced reaching zero to 62mph in 10.2 seconds, while still achieving 64.2mpg on the combined cycle. Like the 118d, its low CO2 emissions have been rewarded with a road tax cost of just £35 per year.
